A Stream of Light Shone Through….
A stream of light shone through (today) the past
obstructing Heaven’s way
obliterating gloom and guile
of love’s betrayal
with her smile!
An angel’s flight on susurrant wings
egress surceased by nameless things
a princess halo radiant beams
swirling spoils of sparkling dreams
Effulgent rays of hope and trust
from hallowed hands are forward thrust
Holy Spirit-chaperoned
blessed approved in grace condoned
Arousing with enraptured heart
each to the other a song to start
a rhyming friendship co-created
melodiously understated
Humbled in Divine grandeur
and gratitude in spirit pure
singing “Joy and Love is Nigh!”
in God’s light finding you and I……
