Love, Act II

Love, Act II….

Symbols, letters, pictures, lines;
	adorning Heaven's stars above
words describing you as mine
	all nestled in the womb of love;

Children hands together joined
	laughing playing running through the yards
thoughts as things in beauty coined
	"forever" written in the cards

On winds of God's breath we ride
	through firmament of skin and bone we soar
towards the center, living, love cannot hide
	a raven wounded behind hope's door

Dwelling there in raiment of white
 	a lost soul finding at long last it's mate
bedraggled, bathing in the light
	showering in desire's fate

Peaking prescience and clangorous clapping
	raise the curtain to reveal life's play
drama, illness, and misfortune
	actors all have had their say
all imposters of the truth
	no longer left to have their way
Act One behind us, faith defines us
	manifesting forward in each day

Songs of heavenly rhyme returned
	banished notes of poetry lifted
exulted in expression learned
	with gratitude for your love gifted!

Romantic reverie on track
	vision hitched to what's ahead
A journey absent any lack
	to each the other is fortune wed!
